Robert Holst is a native Wilmingtonian whose work has been seen in and around Coastal Carolina for years. Robert enjoys painting and creating in every medium and is inspired by the culture and natural beauty of his home. 

An accomplished painter, graphic designer and illustrator, Robert’s work can be found in private, public and corporate collections across the country and abroad. From murals and fine art to newspaper and magazine illustrations, graphics and logos. He is creative, innovative, self motivated, and versatile, with over four decades of experience in developing a broad range of visual art pieces for both businesses and clients. A visual problem solver with the ability to quickly conceptualize and develop images for print, web or canvas. Robert has the ability to connect with clients at every level of a project, regardless of the medium to convey complex technical information in an comprehensive manner with a dash of humor while keeping tight deadlines.

A graduate of the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver. He has completed a successful career as Graphics Coordinator for The New York Times Regional Media Group. Where he supplied art to over 20 newspapers nationwide. Robert has received numerous awards and recognitions, both as an accomplished artist and a prolific visual journalist.
